Interview With Insane Dunker Brett Allen

 

1. what is your age, height, and hometown?

age 21 height 6 foot, hometown Sedalia MO

 

2. When was the first time you dunked and what kind of dunk was it?

one hander from oop when i was 17

 

3. Who are your favorite dunkers and why?

Jordon Cause he is the best, kadour ziani

 

4. What do you do before a dunk session to get ready? (listen to music, stretch, etc..)
listen to some lil wayne and drink a rockstar or a monster energy drink.

 

5. What is/are your signature dunk(s)?

360 cobra, and regular cock backs

 

6. When was the first time you realized you could jump high?

I never realized i could jump high because i had to work very hard to get a vertical, but i guess i realized i was extra ordinary when i could jump over a pick-nick table and when people started coming up to ask me how they could increase their vertical

 

7. What made you want to get better at dunking?

My best friend Brandon Ray aka "Primetime" was dunking when i first met him, he is about 5'9 and could windmill, he is a few years older than me so i looked up to him and he helped me start training my vert at the age of 12 or 13. At the time i couldnt even touch the net haha.

 

8. What are some of your dunking accomplishments?

I have got to dunk in the flying101 dunking documentary dvd, i have played in many and1 and other streetball events, and i got 5th place in the NBA Sprite Slam Dunk competition in Dallas texas where i was dunking against air up there, above and beyone, Slam (my brother), John Clark, Grasshopper and a lot of other talented guys!

 

9. Are you working on any new dunks that you can talk about?

I have back-rimmed 360 behind the back reverse and 360 between the legs reverse like 100 times now haha so soon i hope i can get them down

 

10. Who are the top five dunkers right now?

11. What is the next big dunk contest you will be competing in?

Not sure yet!

 

12. What is your nickname and how did you get it?

B.a. It's my initials, ppl also said it stood for breakin ankles in highschool. I've also been called White Jordon from playing in a streetball tournament, Kadour Ziani called me Bianimal after him the Zianimal, and1 has called me White Jumper and Black hawk down

 

13. How did you get your hops?

Years of hard work

 

14. Did you ever play college ball? If yes, where?

Yes in Kansas

 

15. Where did you get your style of dunking from?

Studying Kadour Ziani

 

16. Where is your favorite place to dunk? (outside, inside, city, state?)

I love dunking anywhere. Im a streetball player so i like dunking outside more. There is a court in Barcelona Spain outdoors with some sick goals and thats prolly my favorite place i have dunked ever.

 

17. What are your plans for the future? (dunking, other career?)

Keep getting better and working on my hops, i want to get better off of 2 feet dunking to become a more whole dunker. I am a personal trainer and i am a senior in college at Missouri state university in exercise and movement science, i will go to graduate school to get my masters degree in something as soon as i graduate.

Thanks for taking the time to read about me, Im always here to help, its not hard to contact me so if you would like additional training tips or anything about me just him me up and i will be able to help you out. Dont let people stomp out your dreams. I was told i would never be able to dunk when i was a freshman in High school so becuase of that it pushed me the extra mile to get where i am today. Most of the people who said i would never do it are amazed today and never thought i would be able to make money on something like dunking a basketball.
