Javier Sotomayer holds the world record for the High Jump at 8'.5" or 2.45 meters and is widely regarded as the greatest high jumper ever. His record has held since 1993 and it looks like it could stick for a while. This Cuban is an amazing athlete, and I can only wonder what he could have done with a basketball in his hands!!!
