Q. what is your age, height, and hometown?

A. I am 20 years old, im 6 '8 and my hometown is Wrangell, alaska

Q. When was the first time you dunked and what kind of dunk was it?

A. first time i dunked was when i was 16 and it was a simple two handed dunk off two feet.

Q. Who are your favorite dunkers and why?

A.My favorite dunker is elevator cause i love his style and power, and the way he explodes up when he dunks it.

Q. What do you do before a dunk session to get ready?

A.Before a dunk session i listen to music while i shoot and get my muscles warm i do some dynamic stretches also in between shooting.

Q. What is/are your signature dunk(s)?

A.well to be honest i have alot of signature dunks or ones that no one else has done but id have to say my signature dunk is the double up over 3 people.

Q. When was the first time you realized you could jump high?

A. the first time i realized i could jump high was when i jumped over someone, when i did that i thought to myself okay you have to jump pretty damn high to clear a human being.

Q. What made you want to get better at dunking?

A. I wanted to get better at dunking because when i first came out with a video no one took me seriously and i wanted to make people pay attention and think of me as one of the best in the world, i also love dunking because people always go crazy when you do a cool dunk so its a good feeling knowing you can excite and amaze people with something you do.

Q. What are some of your dunking accomplishments?

A. my dunking accomplishments would be first person to do the behind the back over someone first person to do double up over 2 and 3 people. first to ever do 20 behind the back variations, first to do a 360 between the legs off the bounce and 360 behind the back off the bounce on camera. and honestly there are many more dunks i have hit that no one else has but it would take to long to list them, and im to lazy haha.

Q. Are you working on any new dunks that you can talk about?

A .haha i am working on some dunks but none i can talk about at the moment... but one of them does involve a double something.

Q. Who are the top five dunkers right now?

A .in my opinion the top 5 dunkers right now in no particular order are guy dupuy, air up there, jus fly, james white, and tony dandridge

Q. What is the next big dunk contest you will be competing in?

A. next big dunk contest will be city slam, which im not sure ill be able to attend but i hope it will workout, and then from there im not sure, but ill be keeping my eye out for any that i can enter.

Q. What is your nickname and how did you get it?

A. well i have a couple one is clark kent, which a friend gave to me another is JC which i gave to myself, and the third is avalanche which is my nickname fore when im on tour with the sky tour.

Q. I heard you were going to Eastern Washington to play basketball, but decided not to play. What made you make this decision? Did you ever dunk with Henry Bekkering?

A. i left eastern washington because i didnt see eye to eye with my coaches and i felt they had been dishonest with me becuase they had recuited me as a 3 but then after i had got there told me they wanted me to get up to 260 and play a 5 which i did not want to do, i have always said that playing basketball as a 5 is really boring to me. I have never gotten to dunk with henry bekkering because he had left the year before i had got to eastern washington however i would love to dunk with him some day, because he is definlty one of my favorite dunkers and i love his style.

Q. Being tall in the dunking world has its advantages and disadvantages. Can you talk about those?

A.well being tall definlty helps me out with dunking because it allows me to pull of dunks that would be more difficult for someone with shorter hands and shorter arms. Besides the fact that it helps me to land more difficult dunks its mostly a disidvantage in the fact that people arent as impressed with someone who is tall as compared to someone that is short, so i do end up gettting some hate about dunking looking to easy for me, or that im supposed to do those kind of dunks at my height, but regardless of the hate i use it to motivate me and help me get better.

Q. Can you touch the top of the backboard?

A. i have not been able to touch the top of the backboard yet but im only about a inch to a half inch of off touching it right now.

Q. Where do you get your inspiration for new dunks?

A. my inspiration for new dunks comes from anywhere people, pictures words anything, honestly i have had a tv show inpsire me to try a new dunk before so it can be anything.

Q. How is vertfreak101 going for you?

A. vertfreak 101 is going good adam is trying to get shows and gigs for us and while i havent made any money of it yet i am confident that in the very near future that vertfreak will have some big events coming up.

Q. any additional shoutouts, interests, hobbies?

A. well i would like to shoutout all the people who have ever encouraged me and helped me get better you know who are, and all the haters who have given me the motivation and gave me a reason to keep trying new dunks and pushing myself as hard as possible. As far as interests and hobbies go i write and am currently about to finish my first book, i also love to read and fly fish, and have aspirations to become a succesfull writer/screen writer someday.
